These terms govern your use of Dookademy, operated by Dooke LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.
You must give accurate information and keep your password and sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been used without your permission.
Free courses are available to signed-in users while we offer them.
When you buy a course or a bundle, you get personal, non-transferable access to it for as long as it is offered on Dookademy, including updates we publish.
A membership gives access to the courses included in it while your membership is active.
We may update, improve or retire courses. If we retire a course you paid for, we will keep your access for a reasonable period or offer an alternative.
Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Memberships renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Failed renewals end access when the period ends.
We may change prices; a change to your membership price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it happens.
Purchases are final and not refunded, as explained in our Refund policy.
You keep ownership of what you post or submit (discussions, reviews, assignments).
You give us a license to host, display and use it to run the platform (for example, to show your review on a course page or let a teacher grade your assignment).
You are responsible for your content: it must be lawful, respectful and not infringe anyone's rights.
You agree not to: share your account or course materials with others; copy, download in bulk, resell or redistribute course content; post harmful, hateful, illegal or misleading content; interfere with the platform's security or operation, or try to access data that isn't yours; use bots or automated tools to scrape the platform.
Certificates confirm you completed a course on Dookademy. They are not a diploma or an accredited qualification unless a course clearly says otherwise. We may revoke a certificate obtained in breach of these terms.
Courses, videos, texts, the Dookademy name and logo belong to us or our instructors and are protected by law. Your access is for personal learning only.
We work to keep Dookademy available and secure, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features of the platform over time.
Dookademy and its courses are provided for educational purposes. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after notice when reasonable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Florida, unless the consumer protection laws of the country where you live give you other rights.
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new date and tell you about important changes in advance.
